Failed Medicals (Pilot Point of Views)

I think there would be less strategizing to "beat the medical" if the medical screening process had a closer relationship with the real risks of flying.

I'd rather fly with someone with a deep interest in aviation and mild ADHD who had demonstrably good ADM skills, than an otherwise "healthy" specimen who likes to do illegal low-level aerobatics in their (...choose a stereotypical aircraft type). Same goes for the arrogant-but-medically-legal types who fly single engine FIKI airplanes into areas of known freezing rain.
