Faast?

Anyone else on board getting involved with the FAAST program to replace the Aviation Safety Counselor and whatnot? I got an email from an FAA guy with several documents and videos to digest. It looks like it will be interesting and a good way to interact with the FSDO. Any of you others have feelings good or bad on the new program?

We're in the middle of the ASP->FAAST conversion in the Northeast Region. It's complicated by the fact that Baltimore FSDO lost its ASPM about six months ago, and the Philly and Washington ASPM's are splitting the Baltimore District. My area falls under the PHL FSDO, and the ASPM (now FAASTPM or whatever) is being very proactive in getting the FAAST ball rolling.
