The original "I don't know it all" of aviation.
Since we have quite a few folks on this board from Dallas/Ft Worth, I'm cross posting this from DFWPilots.com to here:
I am seriously considering attending the next FAAST course, "Meteorology Review for Pilots" at Collin County Community College. Since I'm doing home study for the FAA written, the questions for the exam only cover the bare information. So I really didn't get that deep into the text. Just enough to understand the test question content and able to answer the questions.
But since this is the environment we fly in, I know it's very important to have a full and functioning understanding of weather. So this should be a good class about weather in general, and what goes on in the local area in particular.
Anyone else interested in attending? Let me know if you will be there so I can look for you.
