FAA Swift Fuel Testing

The FAA's final report on the testing of Swift fuel is now availible:

Interesting reading and does show promise. However, the fuel was manufactured using conventional commercially availible feedstock, the claim of using bio-mass is still to be proven.

Sounds like a good start, but with issues to resolve before it's "ready for prime time." Interesting, too, that it is of higher energy density, since that means you'll go farther on a gallon of this than a gallon of AvGas, effectively increasing range. OTOH, folks are going to have to recognize the effects on W&B of fuel that weighs 7 lb/gal.
