After expunging a marijuana misdemeanor from a conviction in 2008, I received incorrect advice from a criminal attorney. I was told it’s as if it never happened and don’t have to disclose it. I admit I also did not read the question about past convictions thoroughly enough and incorrectly answered the question on my initial 1st class medical in 2019.
Fast forward a few years later, someone pointed out to me the huge mistake I made. I then disclosed it on my next medical and discussed it with my AME. My AME wrote the details of arrest and my explanation of my mistake in the comments then issued my 1st class medical. 7 months later the FAA mailed requesting court documents within 60 days.
Once they receive the records, is it likely they will revoke or suspend my medical? Or just ask for more info such as medical and driving records? Also what is the chance they request cogscreen or having to see a HIMS AME?
Thanks
