New Notice N 8000.299, IFR Operating Requirements for U.S. Operators and Aircraft in European Airspace Designated for B-RNAV and P-RNAV Operations. This notice provides information and guidance to aviation safety inspectors (ASI) responsible for approving or authorizing Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 91 U.S. operators and aircraft to conduct operations in European airspace designated for Precision Area Navigation (P-RNAV) airspace and verifying aircraft eligibility for conducting operations in European airspace designated for Basic Area Navigation (B-RNAV). The notice includes technical information and guidance regarding P-RNAV and B-RNAV and detailed guidance to issue the automated Letter of Authorization (LOA) from the Automated Operations Safety System (OPSS).
