There's a site, not the NTSB accident database, that has info about past issues/incidents with planes on it by N-Number, IIRC it's FAA data... It escapes me what it's called or where it's at? I remember finding out my plane had landed in a cow pasture due to fuel starvation that I learned from it and that info is not on the NTSB site... Can someone point me to it?

It's only things that get reported. You get a lot of non-events that get reported by obligation for the certificated carriers and a lot of stuff that doesn't merit any reports doesn't ever appear. For example, when I had my engine failure, it was not an NTSB reportable accident and the FAA was uninterested in it because they were busy with some ultalight fatality in the next county.

That may be the home of the data, but that's not the site I was referring to, IIRC its an ugly site that polls NTSB and "this" data... I clicked on the "more than 10 years" link on the site you provided and it 404ed. I think Dr. Bruce gave me this link a while back.

EDIT.: seems 90% of that site 404s

Are you thinking of this site?

I suspect it is incomplete. I put in an N number of a plane I knew had an incident and it returned no hits. :dunno:
I started putting in N-numbers and... Part 135 must report every little maintenance difficulty, well not everything but definitely things I wouldn't have guessed would show up. I recognized a couple.
