I recently read an online article somewhere about a guy that got a FAA 141 test pilot school approved, but can't seem to find the article again. Anyone see this?

I haven’t heard of one. Currently there’s only one recognized civilian test pilot school in the US. For what rating would a school need a part 141 program?

there are 141 appendix K test pilot courses out there. I read article of a guy that got one approved not too long ago but can't find it now. Was hoping someone saw it as well.

For what purpose? There is no training specifically required to become a test pilot, what is the advantage of a 141 course over any other means of training for the role? ETA: I assumed it was for an experimental test pilot role but realize I may be wrong. Maintenance test pilot, production acceptance, or something else maybe? What am I missing?
