Rescue aircraft spotted the wreckage Wednesday about 100 miles north of Anchorage

It is located - generally speaking since for now it is considered sensitive information - under the southwest portion of the Fox3 MOA along the Susitna River south of the Denali Highway.

It has been interesting. Usually for these things it is all hands on deck, multi-agency response but for a Raptor the military has decided that it is 100% their game and they don't want anyone close. We've stood by throughout the day in case.

One hopes the pilot ejected but no mention of a beacon.

They do that down here whenever a mil. student out of CBM or NMM goes down. Usually for as long as it takes to extract the airframe.
