Final Approach
If anyone doesn't want to keep their May, 2009 issue of EAA's Sport Aviation, I would love to have extra copies to give to the local kids. I'll pay your S&H. Thanks.

What's in there? I haven't read it yet.
Send me your snail mail address and I'll mail it to you
when I'm done reading it.
Diana, That's awesome.
I'll be checking with them for some extra copies. AOPA sent me some complimentary copies of the article they wrote about me. EAA gave me five complimentary copies of the three articles that I wrote (for free) for Sport Aerobatics, but then I had to purchase more if I wanted more. I imagine that EAA will sell me more of this issue (judging from their past behavior). But, I was hoping that if people that received this issue didn't want it after reading it, then perhaps they'd let me have them to give to the kids in the article and to the librarian who gets these kids to read so many books.Have you contacted the magazine for a possible donation of remaining issues or their distributor?
Our address is at the bottom of the AirNav page:Post your snail mail or PM me and I will put mine in the mail
Oh, and the author wrote that I live in Jackson, MO. I read that and wondered if Tom was planning to move away and not tell me about it.Post your snail mail or PM me and I will put mine in the mail
Thanks, Troy!Once I get my copy and thumb through it, I'll send it on to you for the kids, Diana.

What a nice thing to say, Grant.Normally I would, Diana, but there's an article about a friend of mine in there, so I probably want to show it around myself!
What's interesting is getting more feedback later from the kids in their thank-you notes, and from their parents when I run into them in town.In fact, there's a big 1" quote by her:

I enjoyed the interviews with the author. She is a very positive and dynamic lady, and one more person I plan to meet at OSH this year.
Well, something came up about the time I was trying to make the decision about presenting at OSH, and I had to shift priorities for this summer. So, I hope to go to OSH (and spend time with the great and not-so-great unwashed ), but I don't plan to give a presentation this time. You going?Aha! So now we know that the decision is made that you're going to the show. Are you doing the dog & pony routine again, or just hanging with the great unwashed?
