Just thought I'd post this FYI if anyone missed it.

Over a month late but I'm new to the forums and didn't see this posted.

1st class = 12 calendar months
2nd class = 12 calendar months
3rd class = 60 calendar months....5 years!

My question is this: I renewed my third class last year when I was 39. Do I have to renew it two years from now, or four??

four - if you were under forty when it was issued, it's good for five years.

I renewed my medical early; a week before my 40th birthday. I thought I was only going to get an extra 6 months. (This was before the extension). Well worth it!
