everyday deice boot cleaning

I know there are specialized products to care for deice boots. However, what do you use for everyday bug removal? I use Aerowash Wax All for everyday cleaning/coating on metal parts. Is this safe for boots as well?

Radar helps with the big ones, storm scope for lightning bugs. But the little ones still get me.
