Reality is that these days we don't have anywhere near enough to support the ships we deploy.

One of HSC-84's 60s is missing a tail pylon and the main rotor. Hopefully it's been fixed by now.

Having grown up on a lot of naval bases, one of the most fun things to do was go down to the airplane bone yard. I could spend hours there.
