Ercoupe weight increase mods/STC's

I got myself all confused while reading about Ercoupes, specifically 415C's.

It seems like if it's unmodded, it's an "LSA capable" 1260lb.

Then there are mods for 1320lb or 1400lb that only require changing the limiters in the elevators? Or are there more mods involved to do that? Is that where the engine upgrades come into play?

There has got to be a ercoupe owners group. Landed into the middle of a ercoupe meet once, must have been 200 of them.
