Not as serious as the Lance F aviation problem, but my ground bird should be back on the road, shortly. The #5 connecting rod had blown right out through the block. Healey Werks, in Lawton, Iowa, built a new short block and the result is in place but for the hooking-up of the necessary accouterments.

It's been a long "trip;" not as $$$ serious as Lance's problem, but not inexpensive.

Love the AH3000! A guy, Sam Wooten, has a beautiful example at our airport. He bought it brand new, and it's still in mint condition.
I don't have to write the check for the engine I wrote about, fortunately. I feel your pain though for the many automotive endeavors I'm hooked on for which I do pay, and pay, and pay, and pay........
