1950 Pacer left factory as a PA20-135. Same plane same year was offered as a PA20-150. I think the only diff is engine, mount, exh, and prop. Legal to swap a 150 on the airframe? Please answer the question asked brfore telling me what I should do instead.

#edit this is a converted PA 22 Tri pacer converted#

I don't think there is any problem with the conversion. I thought I heard that the earlier pacers had one less wing rib. But I don't think it affects the engine STC.

The Shortwing Piper Club has a list of technical advisors. Tom Anderson is on the list. His phone is 513/398/2656. He would be a good one to talk to. What he doesn't know about short wings, his father in law does.
