The moisture condenses out. Think of dew or thin film of ice on your car in the morning.

Then an even more amazing amount of moisture remains inside.

Watching a plume of steam come out of a tea kettle doesn’t mean the kettle is dry.

The moisture condenses out. Think of dew or thin film of ice on your car in the morning.

Go ahead and measure the moisture content of the output. With the setup described, I think you will find there is little to no difference to ambient.
