Skilz with a Z. Both of these could've been much worse.



Another... milked it along at the edge of the stall to a clearing.

 
I found myself tensing up watching those videos.:eek: Those jump pilots earned their pay for the day. As a former skydiver the second video is, in my opinion, a worst case scenario...heavy aircraft, too low to punch out, and no harness to strap you down.

Being a GOOD DZ pilot is a example of a good amount of skill, energy management is king.

We used to pull power after jump run, pitch just shy of VNE, but touch down nice and slow, make the first taxi exit and not touch the throttle till taxi.

There is another angle from someone filming from the ground. I love how well he rolls it with the wingtip so close to the runway. Been a fan of that one.
