Today is the first time since 1990 that I have not owned at least 1 aircraft.

The check will arrive in 2 days.
The 24 goes away tomorrow.

I set here tonight with mixed emotions, glad it is sold, but it's like loosing a friend.

It's on to the next step, getting the 709 ride behind me, then we move on.

It will suck to open the hangar door as not see a plane sittin there.

"Era" sounds way too momentous and full of drama and it;s not really "the end"... you're just moving on and starting the next chapter in your aviation life. I'm looking forward to seeing what it is!

Sorry to see that happen to the 24, it looked great in the pictures. Wish I had made the time to stop and visit on my way to Alaska.

I'm sure you'll do well on the 709 ride.

The you can pick up your next set of wings, so much to choose from. A C170? Or maybe an LSA taildragger?

You'll do fine on the 709 ride.

Then you get to shop for a new horse.
