That's what I was thinking of. Haven't heard of anyone making an MD-80 into a tanker though. But then again, I haven't been around that industry for over 9 years.

Erickson just started using them as water tankers last year. I just topped 4,000 hrs recently. I think I'll apply. Now, if I can only convince them to accept 4,000 RW hrs I'm good.
