just reached 1200 banned hours. probably 8 hours of those were deserved. the rest were as legitimate as a Nigerian prince email scam.

ok while I probably wasn't banned for that long, I did hit 1200 hours TT today. maybe if I flew less I'd get banned more.

I think we name name tags for the fly ins with our POA handles on them, idk about you guys but I’m terrible matching names, faces and handles together.
 
First time I met eman1200 in person was at the first RR “event”. He apparently was coming off another ban. He apologized if he had offended anyone. I said to myself “Self, who IS this guy?!?!” ;)

Congrats on the 1200.

My boyhood plane! I spent many hours flipping the prop and slamming that into the ground. The wings were held on by rubber bands, if I recall correctly.

I spent quite a few hours flipping that prop also. I only recall flying it a few times, it seemed like it barely had enough power to stay in the air. I recall I ended up taking the engine off of it and putting it on another Balsa control line model that I tried to convert to a free flight mode. It did one flight about straight our for about a 100 yards and the a loop ending with a nose dive straight into the ground.

I did exactly the same thing. Then after a few short flights with limited fuel where it didn't fly away, I put extra fuel in, fired it up and let it go. Watched it climb away never to be seen again.
