Touchdown! Greaser!
Yahoo's spam filter seems to work really well, but it still occasionally happens that non-spam ends up in the spam folder, so I check for that periodically. I have taken to just scanning the "from" field, because it's quicker that way. Many spammers even make it easy by putting a portion of the subject in the "from" field.
For the ones who don't, many times I will do a mouse-over to see whether the sender's domain name matches what's in the "from" field. It seldom does.
My guess is that any email sender who feels it necessary to pretend that they are someone they are not probably has criminal intent.![Eek! ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
