we once had a FAR statement that told us what a Electrical major modification was


now all I can find is FAR 43-A

(xii) Changes to the basic design of the fuel, oil, cooling, heating, cabin pressurization, electrical, hydraulic, de-icing, or exhaust systems.

does that mean any and all wire changes are a major?

It's a basic 'enough rope to hang yourself with' item, pretty common with non commercial ops.
