Old timey EGT gauge, with probe that senses temp from the pilot side exhaust collector right before it enters muffler.

I see a red & yellow wire leading to the probe.

I see 2 studs on the back of the gauge, best I can tell with one yellow wire, other cant tell color.

Prior to this flight, it was consistent. Now it’s dead cold, no needle movement off the stop.

Have multimeter, will travel. Where do I start?

Don't know what connectors you have on the back of the gauge but many times I've seen the push on type connectors simply get dirty and quit working. Cleaning them will sometimes fix the concern ...

YMMV

Yes, thank you. Gauge was good, wiring was good, probe went bad. Back in service.
