Good point. If I didn't comply I imagine one of those aircraft with "Spooky" or "Blue" call signs might have been on me in no time! I'm thinking the Spookies were Black Hawks. Lots of military activity in that area.

Spooky are AC-130s out of Hurlburt.

Also lots of missile testing. We used to fly JASSM, JAGM, and HELLFIRE at Eglin.

Some of the AH-64 students get picked to go down there to fire Hellfires on occasion. R2103 only allows 30MM and 2.75” so they head south to Eglin for Hellfires. Similar to UH-60 students, every few months they fly the Ranger students around the Eglin ranges. Students flying students…always interesting.
