Eagles Concert PIREP?

Dang, I thought that was an invitation.

The Eagles are a band like Skynyrd, Zepplin, Boston. Journey, etc., etc.

Their songs were okay (and just okay) the first million and a half times I heard them.

If I never hear them again it'll be too soon.

Been to a couple of their concerts in the past 5 or so years. They put on a good (expensive tickets) show. Go grab a bio break when they play the new stuff.

Seven Bridges Road never gets old. So where did the Eagles get their big break/start?

Bob Heil recently published a book on his life and discusses his long-term friendship and antics with Joe Walsh in the book, supposedly. Should be a good read when I get around to it. The line "I live in hotels, tear out the walls" is literal.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

As almost all that were at the CS&N concert I went to last year did.

Good show though.
Saw CSN a few years ago. Boy do they hate Neil Young. Stephen Stills still plays a mean guitar, in his stocking feet (no shoes for him). Crosby, and Nash can still sing, which I find amazing given Crosby's health issues, though he was sperm donor for Melissa Ethridge.

Every time I see a Maserati, I think of that song. Great lyrics.

Skynard? maybe, but they have the southern edge and their lead singer died in plane crash.

Zeppelin? Are you ****ing kidding me? In the same sentence as the Eagles? They are the GODS of rock.

Boston? nuh uh. That is talent.

Journey? Steve Perry might be the best rock vocalist ever.

The Eagles on the other hand, they take the word "mediocre" to the extreme. and Don Henley is a douche bag. He sued a paralyzed guy named Don Henley because his site was religious in nature and he thought someone might mistake him for being religious, among other douchey things he does, and his music sucks.

+1...

I am contemplating getting tickets for either Greensboro or Charlotte...Jiminy Crickets, they are expensive...but I like the band and have never seen them...

Throw in 40-45 gallons of av gas, a nice meal at the Brazilian Steakhouse and you have a grand in the show...

Ahhh....I have never seen a hearse pulling a U-Haul...Have you?

Nope, but when I die my hearse better have a supercharger and straight pipes! :D

Actually that was Nash...he's been performing in his barefeet for as long as I can remember.
Nash did not either, but for some reason I remember Stills not wearing them either. I could be remembering it wrong.

:rofl::rofl: YES! My buddy had a 58 Cadillac hearse and when he moved he pulled a U-Haul with it.:rofl::rofl: That was the ultimate partymobile.

I have seen the Eagles many times since the 70's. They seem to be getting much better as the age. They were very good early on, but now seem to be more focused on the music.

I would pay for a picture...

I wish I still had all my negatives from back then:sad: I had a bunch of pictures of the hearse, I used it as a prop in a bunch of pictures. I just talked to him the other day and he still has it. If his kids knew what happened in that sucker at the Dead shows.:yikes::rofl: Hippie chicks loved it, way better than a microbus.

Saw a great Eagles cover band riverside in Akron two years ago. That was free. Beer was cheap. I fly planes.

they've gotten very expensive for no apparent reason . . .

when you hear Desperado its time to leave.
