Touchdown! Greaser!
Our EAA chapter runs an intro ground school the evening before we fly. I took it over a couple years ago, annoyed at the 100% power point presentation, and have been adding more dynamic stuff - such as the Myth Buster's duct tape airplane when I talk about materials that airplanes are made of, and so on.
For the six-pack, I'd like the kids see how the instruments change when the joystick/yoke & pedals are moved. X-Plane 10 is far too cumbersome (eats up my entire system), can't run 11 on the system I use, and besides, it's waaaaay to much for a 5 min demo.
Any ideas? Prefer to have something on the laptop and not depend on network connection.
#1 requirement - Mac. My windows system is a tower, the laptop is a Mac.
