This is the first year I might be able to consider attending this event. Anyone care to give a pirep?

I'm going to bump this once, just to make sure no one has been there. Maybe that says it all...

I suspect it's a pretty local event. This time of year you really can't get anywhere dependably VFR, but those who fly ski planes and taildraggers tend to do it VFR. Never been, so that's the limit of my wisdom. Says me go, I'll bet it's fun.

I’ve been a few times. Super cool if wx and snow conditions are good. Got to fly there during that event once on skis.

even if just a gathering, it’s pretty cool. Over at pioneer, so a neat venue. Only a few hour event.

usually cheap average chili and poor coffee, but tons of chatting, mostly locals. Actually flying in requires fair pre coordination and a personal go ahead through Sean Elliot as I recall.

watching the planes on skis is the most unique thing about it.
