EAA Dues Accounting

Last year, and again this year, I paid my EAA dues about 6-weeks before they were due
In both cases I later get a bill saying my membership will be cancelled if not paid within 10-days.
I have the cancelled check that cleared my bank so I know they received it

I sent an e-mail to EAA asking that they correct things but have not received any response.

I doubt that they are just picking on me, so I suspect this is a common problem with their accounting system.


Anybody else have such troubles?

Did you actually look at the expiration date online or on your SA label? I'd never rely on some subscription "reminder" mailing (no matter how it is worded) as an indication of whether the dues are due or not.

I'd call the 1-800 number. Friendly, helpful people there in my experience.

I would not belong to any organization that would take a member like me......
