At the moment, I'm insured through AOPA's Assured Partners, but I might want to make a change next time my AOPA renewal comes up. EAA offers coverage through Acrisure Aerospace. Are any of you using Acrisure, or know anything about them?

Good? Not so good? Any claims?
No claims for me. My lady was originally AIR and got acquired. She seems under staffed and I have to poke her a bit at times. But she likes my humor and I think she does a good job shopping for me. She got my CFI approved for doing my multi in the Seneca when the insurance originally wanted someone with more type time.

Falcon is now (has been since '24ish) Acrisure as well.

FWIW, insurance or lending I don't think AOPA or EAA affiliation gains us any benefits over just dealing directly with their 'partner' companies.
The organizations are only referring and probably making a fee for same, but we don't get any discount over going direct in my experience

I was with Falcon (now Acrisure) until they were unable to get me coverage for my current plane, at which point I switched to Teri at Northwest. They offer a discount for EAA or AOPA members, but that discount is less than the organizations' dues.

Acrisure seems to be rolling up a lot of the independent agents. I’ve had three new people since they bought out my original agency. Rates seem OK, never had a claims experience

I can't hear the word "poke" without think of Gus McCrae.

My agent at Assured Partners told me my rate with AIG is discounted by 5% for my AOPA membership.
