I have the Dual xgps170 ADSB and traffic box that I use in conjunction with my FlyQ app. While I got the dual about 4 months ago only recently while doing my IFR training have I become more concerned with accurate radar and weather data. Before I was always VFR and well there was never any weather to worry about or see. Now when I am in the clouds I like to have a better picture of what I am flying into.
What I have been noticing is that while in flight the ADSB light (white) flickers and does not always stay on. On my last flight of 3 hours it was totally off for at least half the flight. I am in Texas and according to the ADSB map I should have had coverage. Has anyone else experienced this with the Dualgps170?
