Downloading Question

I downloaded the Garmin 430W simulator. Done! Then I un-zipped, using the Win-zip Extractor (to My Documents). So far - so good. Then I went to My Documents, found the file, and double clicked same. It took me right back to the un-zip mode rather than installing the .exe file. Why, and after repeated attempts to install, does that keep happening? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Because you keep clicking on the install file.

Look in Start->Programs->Garmin <something>

That didn't work, either. Garmin believes that the file is corrupted on their end; they're checking into it.
