Door Steward info

I'm thinking about adding a Door Steward to the front door of my Saratoga. Recent reviews were very positive about its function and ease of installation. Any comments on interference from the mounting brackets or actuator with the door closed? (i.e. - does the front mounting bracket qet in the way or create a problem for getting in/out of the plane?) Thanks....

I give a lot of instruction in a 140 that has a Door Steward installed. Don't even know it's there when door is closed. No issues getting in or out pf the plane.

I have two in my Bonanza. The one on the MED does not cause any issues whatsoever.

On some applications (ie: Comanche) the door may not open as wide as originally designed so may are getting in or out a little more cramped.
