Beautifully done documentary. Glad you posted it.
Doolittle could have secured aviation immortality through any one of his achievements but he produced a lifetime barrage of them.

Can't believe they left off command of the 8th Air Force. Doolittle changed tactical doctrine to release the fighters from close escort to sweep ahead, then conducted Operation ARGUMENT, aka "Big Week", which broke the back of the Luftwaffe and made D-Day possible. IMO the most consequential air battle in world history.

Yep. Wasn't it part of the Ballentine series about aviation heroes? All of those books are good easy reads.
