Do you know how to handle a gear up?

Suggested steps to handle the events following a gear-up with emphasis on preventing further damage; Bonanza featured. I bet you guys can add some other tips.

Lots of good information and some ideas I hadn't ever considered. I would suggest one change WRT the method described in the report: Rather than lower the plane onto the jacks, I would have raised the jacks to the jack points and lifted the plane enough further to loosen the straps. Doing it the other way around (lowering the plane onto the jacks carries a risk of missing the jack (the plane might be swaying a bit, the lift might not be perfectly vertical ect.) and the lift operator might sneeze and drop the plane enough to punch a hole.
