Re: Ding Dong the wicked Kim Jun Il is DEAD
It seems to me we have much the same thing here with our world renowned 1% as well as the rich and famous lifestyles of our elected representatives. Or does that mean we are living in an oppressed country as well?
John
I think you should read this
book. It's about a boy who grew up in North Korea.
I assure you we do not have "much the same thing" here in the United States. Unless the 99% in this country do these things:
-Steal feces from latrines to sell as fertilizer
-Steal seeds from planted fields so they won't starve
-Leave children to die of hunger because there isn't any food
-Eat any animal they can get their hands on
-Are sent to die in prison for merely questioning the Great Leader
-Prostitute children for scraps of food
-Make soup from grass and dirt just to fill their stomachs
-Are sent to a concentration camp on trumped up charges so the government can have more slave labor
No, I think when people in this country that are below the poverty line have a car, microwave, and multiple televisions, that maybe it's not so bad here. In North Korea, the people have no way out of their situation, EVER, except to run away to China and possibly get shot in the process. Here in the US, if you are from a poor family, you have an excellent opportunity to improve you lot in life.
