We watched that in marketing class last semester. Not sure how it related to Marketing, but it was interesting at least. In fact, that might be the ONLY thing I remember from that class.

The only constant thing on Earth is change.

Can you imagine how boring life was before electricity?

Can you imagine how boring life was before electricity?

A caveman once said that about fire. People now say that about internet, tv, radio and overloaded busy schedules.

Actually I've been without electricty for over a month at a time on occasion while backpacking. Not even a flashlight. It's rather peaceful and you actually get to know the world around you in detail. You do have to know who you are beyond the constant state of keeping up with whatever is happening around you in today's society.
When you come back from 5, 6 or 7 weeks of no electricity, you realize exactly how much people are dependent on the stuff and how their behavior is affected by it. Electricity makes people tense and creates a very short shallow attention span due to existing in a constant state of information overload. Electricity and the constant rate of change is an addiction.

Just a different viewpoint...
