Did you know wind was dangerous?

So that's where Alisyn Camerota went.

I saw that on an actual news channel this morning, and thought the guy did a pretty nice job.

Yeah, but you actually know something.

The pilot did a great job. Wonder how the passengers felt?

Just when you think the media can't get any stupider.

It's weathervaning on a normal crosswind takeoff.

I love where she says something about gaining control feet off the ground.

You'd think the news would invest in hiring someone who knows something about aviation as often as it appears in the news. Hell, I need a job, Ill do it.

Well, it is always windy at the airport.

Whatever you do, don't show them those you tube videos of the cross wind landing tests

Yep, I'm terrified. When feet off the tarmac, the last thing there needs to be is wind of any amount.

No, she said, "just feet off the tarmac." See, any paved surface of an airport is a "tarmac".

Don't you know anything about aviation?? :dunno:

We better get Scary Mary in here to straighten you out! :hairraise:

Oh wow, maybe Im more qualified for the aviation consultant position that I thought.

That only happens every late winter and spring at Birmingham...there are dozens of videos on YouTube. But I'm sure you all know that.

Thank God the people on CNN are making the rest of the world aware of the danger.
