Did you ever wonder why TSA seems to ....

Yet, I go through large airports metal detectors without trouble when it's busy...

Somehow if it's not busy I set off the same detector that, 2 days before but at a busy time I walked right on through before...

Security Theater is a term we're all familiar with. I knew it existed the first time I walked through a metal detector. Even then (years ago) I had enough steel in me to build a small firearm and a couple bullets. The above statements are not isolated incidents, as some years I fly a lot for work. An even better example is the wife's friend whom has 36 screws and 4 plates, flies twice weekly, rarely registering a buzz, and that (again) only happens when it's not busy. She's been doing that for 4 years now.

All so people can "feel" safer.

Oh goodie. Now anyone who has dressed up for halloween or taken an acting or makeup class is now a suspected terrorist.

I wonder if I should I report the 17+ people I'm working with tonight.

A mask? Our resident theatre makeup instructor would flunk him out of school for that.
