We actually have an "unofficial" turf runway. It is 1000' X 40' X 38,500# capacity. It is irrigated and looks inviting. However, better have tundra tires. The turf has not grown very thick on the pure rock strata. Rock from the melee left over from the Lake Missoula floods.
