Just received SAIB HG-14-25 today. Has the incompatibity of a zero descent input affected your Garmin equipment ?

There is a Garmin rep active on another forum who may be able to answer your question: Steve <g3xpert@garmin.com>

I know from personal experience with a Garmin GTN650 that at least one airport on the list below has GPS approaches missing in the database of my GTN650 due to the issue addressed by this SAIB.

It is my understanding that this effects only Garmins WAAS GPS units - i.e. 430W but not 430.

Effected airports / dropped approaches (possibly more now...):

Garmin has a fix for all of this, and the newer avionics already incorporate the fix. A firmware update will be required for other units.

With this fix no public RNAV approaches will be excluded.

It they have a charted VDA they will have an advisory vertical path:

LP+V or LNAV+V.

No published VDA these two approach types will not have advisory vertical guidance.
