Departing BFF during a TFR

Hey guys quick question
So I know that as long as you are in contact with ATC you don't have to worry about busting a TFR and that flight following is your friend.
But here's my stupid newbie question:
So going up and landing at the airport within the TFR is no problem since I will get FF, but what about taking off VFR while the TFR is still in effect? It is a controlled field, so will I remain in contact in tower until I clear the TFR or....

Request FF from the tower through ground control. They will give you any special departure instructions and hand you off to departure.

What kind of TFR is it? If it is a VIP TFR you will need to file a flight plan as well and open it prior to departure.

No just a stadium tfr for a ncaa football game.

For the stadium TFR you're authorized as long as you are in contact with ATC. As poitned out by Shawn, the VIP TFRs typically are stricter.
