Denver area GA community

Well I just moved from the DFW area to the DEN area. DFW has a great scene for general aviation including dfwpilots.org which has led to great friends and relationships in the GA community. Is there a comparable site for denver? Or maybe good fb groups?

I also want to get into parasailing and soaring if anyone has any insider knowledge or connections.

Boulder or Kelly airpark for soaring. No connections either place. Have been up with the commercial operation in Boulder. The airspace can get a little busy.

Golden for parasailing. There used to be/prolly still is a shop in downtown Golden. They launch off Mt. Zion which is the first hill west of Golden. It has a rather large "M" on it.

What is this "facebook" thing?

FlyColorado, a back country group
a couple local Meetup groups
EAA chapters all over the state
a very active local EAA chapter, meetings down south(by park meadows) every month, Young Eagles at FTG every month
many of the flying schools have monthly or more frequent events
Right here on POA there are over 50 people that are all in Colorado
Fellow at FTG builds and teaches ultralights

Ditto. I miss all my Colorado aviation friends and the Colorado Pilots Association fly-ins.
