Y'all may remember my post about my friend who , upon a couple days' notice, flew out to the Arvada Cultural Center(outside of Denver) and took over the lead role in Les Miserables for its one week extended run when the regular lead was otherwise booked during said continuance. Dennis has been asked to return there in the spring for a nine week engagement in a production of Evita. He's not decided at this point.
Last Sunday evening Dennis and three other performers gave a benefit performance at the Boothbay(Maine) Opera House. Two ladies and another male actor/singer, all spectacular. My suggestion is: If and WHEN any of you see his name posted for performance, be there!
He did an operatic piece the other night that the director remarked in comparison to Pavarotti. The house was on it feet before he finished.
