Pre-takeoff checklist
Does anybody here happen to know the part number for a Debonair dzus cowl fastener. I lost one from my upper cowl and am trying to buy another from a local salvage yard, but they won't help me unless I have a part number. The only part number I could find was on the Aircraft Spruce website, but that was for a $40 kit with a vague description. The fasteners on my plane look like these OEM upper cowl "Z-spec" fasteners from: http://www.milspecproducts.com/bonanza.htm
but the website does not list a part number...
I am at work, far away from my logbooks and airplane, just trying to find the darn part number for a fastener. I figure somebody here might know. The plane is a 1964 Debonair if that helps. I need one this week for a trip next week. If anyone happens to have one and willing to ship it, that would also be great. Thanks.
