I would like to get in touch with any alumni or previous students.

I'm thinking about pulling he trigger and attending this school.

Anyone with information regarding or thoughts on this school or its reputation would be greatly appreciated!
 
I can tell you that we consider a special notam to clear the airspace when dean students show up at our field for touch and gos. I say that partially joking but they do the craziest things :)

and we have all likely done crazy things along our paths to learning to fly.... I know I've done my fair share.

You'll learn about TFR (temporary flight restrictions) as you learn to fly.
Some are needed (TFR around a forest fire so the aircraft used to fight the fire can operate with fewer impediments) while others are merely security theater (presidential TFR).
They are essentially places one can't fly into without the appropriate permissions or following the appropriate procedures.
You'll be taught the details as you progress in flying.
