That would be neat. I was "meh" about the trimotor, but I learned to fly here:

See the planes on the north end of the deactivated N-S runway? Those DC-3s have been there for 25+ years. I'd say same spot, but they were rearranged by a tornado a while back.

Stared at 'em in the pattern, and while flying R/C in the middle of that runway.

when were you at rolla ? I used to fuel the C-150 there for sitting-governor carnahan when he would sneak down from jeff city for his flying lessons on sundays. That was early 90's.
