Either the police officers religious preferences or security for the police probably. If you are apprehending either a drug cartel member or a terroist organization member you and/or your family can rapidly become the target. More prevalent in other parts of the world, so far, thankfully. Many arrest picture and videos from Mexico have the police officers similarly disguised.
