Darren Pleasance speaking on Social Flight TONIGHT - 2/17

Interesting. Considering the contractural gag orders in play I don’t expect much tea being spilt…

I had the same thought. I hope he uses the time to inform a path forward for his replacement. Seems like the sorta dude he is. High road and all.

Weird how much I am reading about this event online.

They could invite someone from the Board to speak another time. I think the odds of them accepting are close to zero.

The Board doesn't need a podcast to reach its audience. It doesn't make them right; but they have no interest in a Lincoln-Douglass debate with their fired employee, or anything resembling the same.

It’s on YouTube. It’s about an hour long. I haven’t had the time to watch yet. The 5 minutes I did watch gave me a positive impression. He’s definitely a “take the high road” type.

Thx for posting the link, @baboss
Pleasance is impressive. Thoughful, passionate GA and AOPA advocate.

I watched it, He is indeed very professional, well spoken, and clearly all-in on GA, The kind of guy AOPA needed. No shade directly thrown at AOPA by him, but he did point out he bought a house in Frederick and was there when he wasn't meeting with pilots at numerous events, which I guess the board thought was too much or something.

The next person is going to have big shoes to fill and it'll be difficult to be successful.
