Darn you YouTube, Stop scaring me!

You forgot to add calling out "race baiters". ;).

Oh yeah I forgot to include your obsession with calling people "racist" whenever you disagree with them on an issue that involves race. You get your kicks by lobbing personal attacks and trying to intimidate people from behind a keyboard:rolleyes2:

Why did you edit out the part about being an "equal opportunity offender"? You should have left that in.

Geico doesn't offend me, even though his insurance sucks.

I put it back in just for you. ;)

Pot calling kettle, pot calling kettle! :dunno:

I personally think its just like my motorcycle.. I ride a BMW K1600GTL.. Big fast and awesome. Love it.

I have to think that GA is the same way. If you do stupidly, you're going to hurt yourself.

Pretty much, if you've been riding a good long time, you know how to manage risk and survive. Apply that to your piloting and you'll be fine.

There seems to be a large intersection of the sets "pilot" and "motorcyclist."

The new guy saw you for who and what you really are and called you on it, so I'll leave it at that.

Go back to intimidating our "menopausal Internet poster" POA members.

My opinion, Take it or leave it.

Watch them. Watch them all, As many as you can find.
Then look them up and learn what went wrong. All are in NTSB reports, Many of them are on Wikipedia. In driver's Ed, we had to watch all those awful car crashes. I think it is helpful to do the same with flying.

Yes they are horrific and no fun to watch but I have done postmortem on just about every crash on youtube to learn what caused the crashes in hoped of avoiding the same fate.

I am by no means a morbid person and I don't like watching these but I feel it s beneficial to know what went wrong/right.

Someone asked in another thread if a VMC roll could happen that quickly, looking at the video above marked stall/spin show it sure can, you can see the pilot start to loos directional control but once it truly progresses to the point of no return it just flops right over.

I ride a Yamaha FJR motorcycle, which is a powerful and highly maneuverable motorcycle. I don't kid myself thinking that my motorcycle is as safe as a car. It's not, motorcycle riding is very dangerous compared to riding in a car.

Riding a motorcycle without wearing a helmet is just so stupid that it ought be grounds for the FAA to revoke a medical, so for the purposes of this note let's assume we ride our motorcycles with a helmet and decent riding gear.

I think flying light planes on a nice day is probably safer than riding a motorcycle on public roads on a nice day. As the weather begins to deteriorate and the sun goes down the risk level for motorcycles and airplanes goes up.

At some point the airplane becomes more dangerous than the motorcycle when operating at night and/or in marginal weather. That's because an airplane accident at night or in weather is much more likely to be fatal than a motorcycle accident.
